Stan tell us a little about yourself......
Born and raised in Hawai'i where we have no professional team. So people's team here varies. Unlike many families that have one sole team that they all cheer for. My family makes you pick a team when you're young and make you stay with your team growing up to make true fan out of you. I was fortunate to have chosen the Dallas Cowboys in the 2nd grade and have never looked back.
I have a younger brother that's a Giants fan and two cousins that are Eagles fans. Proud to say that when we win our 6th Super Bowl soon, no one will call me a bandwagon fan. Everyone I went to school with from elementary to high school and college know I'm a Cowboys fan. We get televised a lot so when we lose I get all of texts but I'll defend our boys no matter what.
Location: Honolulu, Hawai'i
Troy Aikman (The reason I became a quarterback and was one in high school.)
Favorite Cowboys Memory:
The 25-24 come from behind win over the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football. It had me on the edge of my seat the WHOLE game.
It also showed me that even with the five interceptions and a lost fumble, Romo and the team never lost their demeanor. He led two touchdown drives with one in the 4th quarter as time was winding down. We had to opt for the onside kick & faith would have it we somehow recovered.
Romo, then drove the ball once again and put our kicker within field goal range as Nick Folk nailed a 53 yarder after being iced with a timeout. Watching the game you would think with five interceptions with two of them returned for touchdowns and one kickoff return to the house that the Bills would have sealed that game.
But when Dallas closed out the victory in the final seconds in front of a sold out Buffalo crowd became a moment I'll never forget.
That game had my adrenaline pumping from start to finish.
