NFL broadcasting legend Pat Summerall has died at the age of 82.
Summerall spent ten years as a professional football player in the NFL primarily as a place kicker. The Detroit Lions drafted Summerall in fourth-round draft of the 1952 NFL Draft.
After his football career, Summerall became a broadcasting legend.
Summerall has broadcast 16 Super Bowl on network television with CBS and FOX networks, more than any other announcer in history.
He also contributed to 10 Super Bowl broadcasts on CBS radio as a pregame host or analyst.
