MLB Sean Lee And The Dallas Cowboys Agree To Six-Year Extension
The Dallas Cowboys and middle linebacker Sean Lee have agreed to an six year extension worth 42 million dollars with 16 million dollars guaranteed over the life of his contract.
Lee's newly signed deal is worth seven million dollars a year with playing time escalators could push his total to 8.5 million according to NFL Network's Albert Breer.
Albert Breer also reports that Sean Lee has to play 80% of the snaps each season to hit his contract escalators so the Dallas Cowboys did add some insurance just in case Lee gets hurt during the season since Lee is slowly earning the injury prone label by some people.
Since joining the Dallas Cowboys in 2010 Lee has 195 tackles, seven interceptions, two forced fumbles, and one career touchdown.

“I’m extremely excited. I’m blessed to be drafted by a great franchise like this,” Lee said Wednesday evening. “To have an opportunity to be here for a long time, hopefully we can compete for Super Bowls, it’s fantastic. I’m blessed to be here. I’m very grateful to the Joneses and the opportunity they’ve given me.”
