Cowboys insider 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher reports that the Dallas Cowboys and highly scrutinized offensive lineman Doug Free have agreed on a new two year contract.

Free was scheduled to make 7 million in base salary this year with the Cowboys.

Now that the Cowboys and Free have come to terms on a new contract his base number will be cut in half saving the Dallas Cowboys 3.5 million dollars.

The first year of Free's new contract is fully guaranteed, but the second year is not.

In other related Cowboys news, The Dallas Cowboys sign veteran defensive lineman Anthony Hargrove to a one year contract.

He will receive the veteran minimum of 840,000 and will count 555,000 against the salary cap. To make room for the Hargrove signing the Cowboys released guard D.J. Hall.
