Dallas Cowboys Pre-Draft Visits Updated

The list of players that the Cowboys are meeting with or having private workouts is increasing. Recently TBN revealed seven players that the Cowboys are doing their due diligence on. The Cowboys now can add Justin Simmons the defensive back from Boston College and Vernon Hargreaves III the corner from Florida to that list. Both of these workouts/visits were reported by Rand Getlin of NFL Network.

Aaron Wilson who is a NFL Insider for the Baltimore Sun and the Houston Chronicle tweeted a couple of more players who will workout for the Cowboys. Mississippi State wide receiver Robert Johnson who could be part of the same workout with his quarterback Dak Prescott. You can also add Maryland edge rusher Yannick Ngakoue.

What we have learned in recent drafts that the Cowboys value the SPARQ scores. Zack Whitman of 3sigmaathlete.com does a fantastic job putting these numbers today. These numbers show where these players test athletically. I have added the SPARQ scores to the original list of seven players that were reported to be meeting with the Cowboys as well.

Player POS College SPARQ Percentile Class Rank
Joey Bosa DE Ohio State 125.6 67.2 7th
Derrick Henry RB Alabama 132.7 96.6 2nd
Connor Cook QB Michigan State 100.2 56.3 9th
Dak Prescott QB Mississippi State 104.9 66.7 6th
Laquon Treadwell WR Mississippi N/A N/A N/A
Ryan Brown DE Mississippi State N/A N/A N/A
Shaq Lawson DE Clemson 130.5 79.3 2nd

Justin Simmions DB Boston College 134.9 96.2 1st
Vernon Hargreaves CB Florida 137.2 97.3 2nd

This list of Cowboys pre-draft visits do also include workouts which are not counted against the 30 they are allowed by the NFL.
Laquon Treadwell, and Ryan Brown did not have scores assigned to them. The percentile number represents how they compare to their peers at the NFL level.
