Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo Opts For Surgery

Dallas Cowboys insider Mike Fisher reports that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will undergo collarbone surgery sometime next week.

Romo will have a titanium plate implanted to his clavicle with screws, hopefully with this surgery the risk of re-breaking the collarbone will be eliminated. Recovery time for this procedure usually takes around six to eight weeks to fully heal. Romo is expected to be ready for the Dallas Cowboys organized team activities in May.
