Was Greg Hardy’s Sideline Rant Passion Or Did He Step Over The Line?

Every media outlet and every channel you turned on  today the hot button topic was Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy.  I had to sit back and rewatch the Greg Hardy sideline videos over and over again to see if I could see what was the big deal was.

The first was Hardy enters into the Dallas Cowboys special teams huddle after the Dwayne Harris 100 yard kickoff return.  Hardy and special team Rich Bisaccia got into a brief heated argument.

The video below shows Hardy slapping the clip board out of Bisaccia’s hand as he is coming off of the field.

Here is another video of Cowboys WR Dez Bryant and Greg Hardy as they exchange a few words with each other. Bryant later said that there is no issue between him and Hardy.

Now the national media had their opinions about the Greg Hardy sideline incident. ESPN First Take Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless weighed in on the situation.

The best quote I heard from the national media today was from Herm Edwards.

“If this was Tom Brady we’d say that’s leadership”
